Brooke Porter

Brooke Porter is a dedicated seed sower, educator, agroecologist, and award-winning visual storyteller. She is committed to cultivating relationships of reciprocity with the land and communities. Her photography is an exploration of the human spirit, in which she illuminates authentic moments of connection and translates them into art. Through a process of interweaving the social, ecological, and political dimensions of agroecology she actively works to propagate regenerative farming systems, rooted in equity, justice, and cooperativism. Most recently she is finishing her MSc in Agroecology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in conjunction with Spain’s Universidad de Córdoba. She currently resides in Brazil, where she conducts research on popular education initiatives devoted to teaching agroecology.www.brookeporterphotography.com
